    Would you believe that 99 out of 100 yahoos who read this will have no idea of what you are talking about?
    Probably .405 Winchester with a 300 grain soft point ?
    Or a .22 Short to the eye?
    What difference does it make? A Bull Elk can be killed with a little .25 -35 caliber bullet fired from a little old 1894 Winchester carbine. Elk are “thin-skinned” ungulates and do not require much of a gun to kill them.
