Need help on picking a nice compound bow?

Eric M asked:

If I was to choose a Mathews, Hoyt, PSE, or Bowtech compound bow which bow in each brand would be a good choice?? I have a draw length of 27" and would like to have a draw weight of 70 pounds. I will primarily be hunting white-tail and the occasional elk hunt out west. I would like to be able to shoot around 300 fps to keep a flatter shot. Set aside money and all, I just want to know what bow is the best out there for each of these elite brands, in your opinion. Thank You for your comments.

I shoot a Hoyt Trykon, and am very happy with it. It also fits into your category for what you are wanting. On the other hand, if money isn’t an option then a bowtech is a great bow. Matthews bows are also great. you’ve made a pretty tough question here. It is alot of times a matter of opinion. All of these brands can do what you want, so you need to really decide for yourself. I like Hoyt, so I would recommend that, but I’m sure there will be other people recommending the others. So good luck.
On a personal note………PSE stands for Pieces Scattered Everywhere.lol

Matthews DXT, Hoyt Vectrix,Bow- Tech Guardian, And do not like the PSE. Nothing really against the bow, but a local dealership put a bad taste in my mouth concerning customer service. You can’t go wrong with the top 3 that is listed. The very best, of the very best.

Either a Matthews of a Bowtech. Both are VERY good.
