I'm pretty new to archery and I was just wondering if it's okay to leave my bow strung up or if it would be better to unstring the bow whenever I'm not using it?
I have a recurve bow, 60" about 35lbs pull weight.

Leave it strung and buy a case,My hubby does this, but if you do not have a case just hang it somewhere to store it.

I was in archery for several years. The best thing to do is unstring the bow if it’s going to be unused for long periods of time so the both the string and the bow retain their resilience and does not become too weak too quickly. If it’s just overnight or so, that’s ok to leave it strung, but for more than that, unstring it. Any more questions, let me know.
