Broadhead for Turkeys?

I'm new to bowhunting turkeys and I was just wondering about what type of broadhead is best for my setup. I shoot a Bowtech TomKat set at 55 pounds at 29" draw. For deer I use NAP Spitfire 100 grain broadheads and from what I've experienced with them, they're devastating. I know NAP makes the "Gobbler Getter", the same broadhead only designed with a blunter head, but I'm wondering if it would be worth the switch, or I wouldn't get enough penetration.

I was also looking at the Aftershock Hypershock Gobbler broadhead. It seems like it would be an effective turkey broadhead. What do you guys think?

I would not spend the money on a different set of broadheads just for turkeys. Your NAP spitfires will have no problem killing a turkey, its just a 20lb bird. If they will kill a deer they will kill a turkey.

Use the one that works as a guilletuin and cuts their heads off, its used for duck geese and turkey.. I made a video this morning that I like with my bow.. I shoot my iphone 3gs and it smashes apart ;)
its in the sources if you want to see it

I agree with Deer Hunter, although it sounds like he doesn’t have a ton of experience hunting turkey. I wouldn’t bother switching over to a new broad head if you can hit the neck with what you are shooting now. It’s alright to shoot them through the body too, but they may jump up and run/fly off. If you can’t hit that accurately, then get gobbler getter. It really all comes down to you. If you can do it with your bow, you can do it with just the broadheads that you have now.
