This is the best advice I can give you. The only difference is the fact that you will need to bend at the waist in order to have the same form you use when shooting on the ground. Let me explain it this way – picture yourself shooting on the ground with a arm holding the bow straight out and looking at the target and the sight pin- now picture yourself in a ladder stand and doing the same thing. You will see you have to do one of two things in order to put the sight pin on a deer. Your first tendency is to just lower your bow arm and shoot the deer as the sight pin settles on the kill zone. This will result in a miss or a bad hit due to improper form.

You must bend at the waist to achieve the proper results, not drop the bow arm. While you are aiming your bow with the bow arm straight out while in the ladder stand, bend at the waist to get the sight pin on the vitals. This method will result in a hit where if you just lowered your bow arm, it will result in a miss or a bad hit.
