"At Hoyt, we’re powered by something different. We’re driven to not just design great bows, but to engineer the world’s absolute best bows. Our 2009 line exemplifies our passion for flawless design and engineering. Never before have we taken such an aggressive approach in our research and development. Never before have we introduced a line of bows as innovative and technically sound.
Many companies claim to make the best bows. But where’s the proof? Here’s ours. We’ve made our new TEC LITE risers incredibly lightweight without sacrificing an ounce of strength and durability. Although unbelievably light, they still survive our rigorous 1,500 dry-fire test and beg for more. Our new XTS Series Split Limbs breeze through a minimum 1,000 dry-fires - a measure that would make short work of lesser limbs. Every innovative inch of our bows is designed and engineered to last."
Hoyt has been one of the top names in archery hunting equipment for many years and the reason is simple: They make great products!
This is a great hunting video showing how with the right gear and skills, you can get close to game, even in the open.

this is my first time hunting with a bow( ushally i go hinting with guns) i bought a hoyt bow from my cousin with 30lbs draw back is that enought to kill a deer
im thinking about getting the fred bear "truth 2" but i want to make sure its a top brand before i buy it, i know that bear bows are endorsed by primos so they have to be awesome i guess, what do you think?
Hi all four to five years ago i purchased a Hoyt ultra Tec. A 60 to
70 pound model with an axle length of 37 and a half inches with a
string length of 58 inches (factory set). A bow which i love to shoot
and can shoot all day.I recently broke a string and sent it away to my
local Hoyt dealer to be repaired and when it returned i went to do a
bit of fine tuning and noticed that the limb bolts were screwed right
in and i could only get 65 pounds of peak draw weight and the axle to
axle length is now nearly 38 and a quarter inches.
When i phoned my local Hoyt dealer to ask about the problem he said
that they had put the right length of string on the bow but if the
string was too long like i thought,He said if the string was longer i
would actually get more peak draw weight from my bow is this
true??????
And if he has put the right length string on my bow then does anyone
have any idea as to why these changes have happened??????
well i just got this compound bow in a sale for $30 and its a Hoyt/Easton USA Rambo. dont know anything about it and cant find anything on the internet about it. please some backround and how much it would be worth.
i am in the market for a good compound bow. i dont need the best out there, but i need a good one. i can afford to spend nearly $400 on a bow. what brands should i consider?
i only know of these brands: matthews, bowtech, hoyt, bear and PSE. are there any other good bows out there?
I was biding on Ebay and decided to buy a newish bow. I bid on a few, not expecting to win because of the low bids. I won 2. HOYT TRYKON and a MATHEWS SWITCHBACK! Now i'm stuck because like I said before I didn't expect to win them with such low bids. ($300) I need to email one and tell them I cant get it. Which one should I get?
Does anyone out there own a Trykon or Switchback and have shot the other? Preferences?
I am NOT an experienced bow-hunter. I have been hunting with a 30-30 most of my life. I own a PSE Mojave I bow-fish with. I would appreciate any input on the 2 bows from an owner.
Thanks
Steve.

Hahaha. Thanks, but she has me on a $500 limit and I still need a release, arrows, field tips and a 3D target!!
I have been using a cheap parker bow which is okay, but I want to upgrade for the 2009 hunting season. I want to spend around 500 dollars on the bow and only about 650 to 700 total. I have done research and the companies I want to buy from are Hoyt, Mathews, or Bowtech because it seems like they make really good products. What is a good bow in the 500 dollar price range from these companies? Thanks in advance.
