The first thing I noticed about the new blind was how fast and easy it went up and also how roomy it was inside (there were two of us inside and we're both big guys). It was very stable, too. But that was only the beginning. Gobblers and hens came to our calls and paid no attention to the blind whatsoever. I shot at a gobbler at 5 yards but missed him. He spooked ten yards away and was visibly very nervous. I called to him with soft contentment purrs and that settled him down and he went right into full strut. I nocked another arrow (try that without a blind) and put one in his boiler room. That was my first gobbler with a bow. When my buddy let me off at my house, I went inside and ordered my own blind right away.

How do you find hunting property for lease?

My husband and I live in southern Alabama and we are looking for a small bit of property (40 acres- 300 acres) for either he and I to hunt, or for he, myself, and a very few friends to lease for hunting (deer, rabbit, hogs, etc). I have googled "hunting property for lease/ alabama" every way I can think of. Does anyone know of any websites that could help us? Any other suggestions?

I know the landscapes and trees are different from my visits to each, but am curious to see what camouflage patterns are best for these areas? Is there one that would work well for both since I will not be hunting either on a regular basis?

Okay I'm 14 and my dad and I are going to start hunting. My dad has little expirience with hunting and doesnt know what guns we should start off with and what we should start hunting. I have almost no expirence with hunting but guns I have expirence. I have had bb and pellet guns from when I was 5 until now. I have shot a 9mm, .357 mag, 410 shotgun, and a .22lr.
